Policy Changes
Dream Book Stores reserves the right to make changes to this Policy at any time. Since this Policy may change over time as we modify or expand our Services or as applicable laws change, we suggest that you check back from time to time to understand how we treat your information. Our Policy’s effective date will always be set forth at the beginning of the Policy. Any changes will be immediately incorporated into this Policy and will be prospective only. We will not make any changes that have retroactive effect unless legally required to do so.
Any change to this Policy is effective immediately. Your continued use of the Services after any changes are made to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If any changes are unacceptable to you, you should cease all use of the Services.
If any changes to this Policy materially affect how Dream Book Stores treats or handles Personal Information (as defined below) that you have already provided to us or that has otherwise been collected by Dream Book Stores, we will notify you by email (if Dream Book Stores has a valid email address to use) and give you thirty (30) days to opt-in to the changes as they pertain to your information If you do not opt-in, your information will continue to be used in a manner that is consistent with the version of this Policy under which it was collected, or the information will be deleted.
Information Dream Book Stores May Collect
Personal information (“Personal Information”) is generally defined as information that, alone or in combination with other information, could identify, relate to, describe, reference, be reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household. The information we collect includes certain kinds of Personal Information, which are further described below.
More specifically, there are areas of the Services where you may be asked to provide Dream Book Stores with Personal Information or other data, via an online form on our Site or when you communicate with us through other methods of communication such as SMS or a phone call, or where such Personal Information or other data may be collected from you in an automated manner through online tracking technologies, including tracking pixels. Processing by Third-Party Recipients
Except as noted herein, Dream Book Stores does not share or sell your Personal Information with any person or entity outside of Dream Book Stores.
Data Analytics / Advertising Providers
Dream Book Stores may use certain Personal Information we collect from you to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications that may be of interest to you. More specifically, the online identifiers and certain Device Information we collect from you, which could include Personal Information to the extent they are reasonably capable of identifying you, may be collected and managed by our outside marketing vendors in order to provide you with targeted ads based on what you appear to be interested in as a result of your activity online, both on our Site and elsewhere. Dream Book Stores Vendors and Other Third-Party Recipients
We may disclose certain portions of your Personal Information to other service providers, vendors, or third parties as necessary to fulfill the business purposes for which the Personal Information was collected. Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, they will be required to conform to the privacy standards expressed in this Policy. These third parties shall use the Personal Information only for purposes related to the supply of services to us and they will also respect contractual conditions that oblige them to maintain the confidentiality of all information.

Dream Book Stores will not disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement entities, government entities, or other persons unless permitted or required to do so by the following: (i) any lawful method or process by which a law enforcement entity is permitted to obtain such information; (ii) a court order with sufficient notice to both Dream Book Stores and the user so that either can contest disclosure; (iii) the user has given informed, affirmative consent in writing to the specific disclosure to the specific person for a particular purpose; (iv) Dream Book Stores’s reasonable good faith belief that the Personal Information collected through the Services is evidence related to a crime against Dream Book Stores or the user; and/or (v) there is an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury requiring disclosure of Personal Information, but only when the law enforcement entity requesting disclosure has applied for and received approval for a valid search warrant. Upon the written request of a law enforcement entity to preserve a user’s Personal Information, pending receipt of a request or demand for such Personal Information pursuant to the conditions listed above, Dream Book Stores will retain the relevant records and evidence for 90 days from the date of the preservation request by the law enforcement entity, renewable for another 90-day period following a renewed written request by the law enforcement entity.

The above third-party Personal Information sharing excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You may be able to opt-out of Dream Book Stores sharing your Personal Information with the entities identified in this Policy by contacting us using the information above, unless the sharing of your Personal Information is otherwise needed to provide Services to you or for a purpose that is otherwise permitted under applicable data privacy laws.
Any removal of content by Dream Book Stores does not ensure or guarantee complete or comprehensive removal in all places. The content may have been shared or reposted by other parties who act outside of any business relationship with us or may not cooperate with our request for them to delete your Personal Information, or federal, or state law may require maintenance of the content or information. Dream Book Stores will do its best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee we can remove all Personal Information from the specified uses. Therefore, please be as specific as possible in your request. If the request relates to information that Dream Book Stores needs to make certain Services function properly for you, you may not be able to use those Services properly moving forward.
Dream Book Stores reserves the right to maintain proper business records as required by law, or for otherwise legitimate business purposes to the extent permitted by law, even if such records contain your Personal Information.
You may grant an authorized agent written permission to submit requests regarding your Personal Information, but we may deny authorized agent requests absent proof that you authorized such agent to act on your behalf, or if we are unable to verify your identity. To verify a request from an authorized agent, we may require proof that you gave the authorized agent signed permission to submit the request, such as requiring you to verify your identity directly with us or directly confirming with us that you provided permission for the authorized agent to submit your request.
Dream Book Stores is required to verify the identity of any person or entity that requests the disclosure or deletion of Personal Information. If you have a password-protected account with us, we will use our existing authentication procedures to verify your identity, however, making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. For most other requests, Dream Book Stores will ask you to provide information that matches at least two pieces of Personal Information we store about you before responding to your request. If you would like to request the specific pieces of your Personal Information that Dream Book Stores has collected, or if you would like us to delete highly sensitive information, you will need to match at least three pieces of information we store about you, and you must provide a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose Personal Information you are requesting.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you. Under such circumstances, we may follow up with you for additional information as reasonably necessary to authenticate your request.
We will only use Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
Email Communications
By providing us with your email address, you agree to receive communication from us primarily through email. This means that you are opting in to receive email communications from Dream Book Stores, and its brands, in accordance with the guidelines and limitations outlined below. You will always have the option to “opt out” or “unsubscribe” from these emails after initially opting in. To opt out of our emails at any time, please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email you receive from us.
